Kicks (aachcbD-E-P-Uw-) is one of the most expressive gerbils I've ever met. He makes a cute kissing/popping sound when he's excited or when he just wants me to know what he thinks about something. He's cautious but very curious. He always stops whatever he's doing to "talk" to me. We've had many chats, with me talking and him up on his hind legs searching for the source of the voice that often means he's about to get treats or something interesting to chew. Kicks is a color point gerbil which means that he has dark points on his nose, ears, paws, and tail. In the gerbil world, his particular shade is called "Siamese."
Like Norgana, Kicks came to us from Cedar Moon Gerbils.
Norgana (AaC[ch/cb]D-eeP-Uw-) is a quietly confident female and one of the best mothers I've ever seen. She is polite, never nipping, and her fur is wonderfully soft. She is a dark-eyed honey with a gene that lightens her coat. Together with Kicks, Norgana could have some interestingly colored pups, including color points (like their dad). My favorite memory of Norgana will always be the time I thought I'd lost a pup only to come back the next day and find the missing pup cuddled with her siblings. Norgana had practically dug up the entire tank to find her missing baby!
Norgana came to our family from Cedar Moon Gerbils, an AGS-registered breeder in Austin, Texas.
